That’s why Acer is launching the next generation of notebooks, with the latest quad-core Intel and dual-core AMD chips. The new Aspire 5750, 5750G and Aspire 7750G notebooks feature the 2nd-generation Intel Core i7 2630QM quad-core processor. The 7750G can be maxed out at 8GB of memory and 750GB storage and the 5750s’ get either 4 or 6GB with a max of 640GB storage.
As far as screen real estate goes, they are loaded up with LED-backlit widescreen displays, the Aspire 5750 and 57050G sports a 15.6-inch display (1366 x 768 resolution), while the Aspire 7750G gets a 17.3-inch HD+ display (1600 x 900 resolution).
Starting prices are set at$899.999 for the Aspire 5750 and 5750G, and $1029.99 for the 7750G; available for U.S. customers on Jan. 9 at select retailers.
