Cute idea but not very practical. Top speed of 25 MPH and a range of 30 miles. My living in the country and drive to the city to work makes this VERY impractical.
Of course, I now drive a 2 wheel vehicle to work that goes the speed limits (yes, even 65 MPH), gets over 55 MPG and cost me about $3800 to buy. It's called a MOTORCYCLE!

I can see this being a great idea if you live in an urban environment and use it as a commuter vehicle. I'm sure with more time and development, GM will increase their size, range, and creature comforts. I think this is a good forward thinking idea or GM. Personally, I'm tired of watching the price of gas do nothing but go up all the time.

And youput the shopping bags where pray tell. What good is a car if you don't have room to use it for grocery shopping? It may be cheap to drive, but if you have to make 20 trips to haul it home or tow a trailer all your savings go up the pipe.

Don't you understand what the engineers were trying to accomplish when they thought this up? Of course not. These *mini* vehicles are meant to do what oh so many of us can't... DRIVE! They are only in the concept stage and are predicted to go up to 30mph FOR NOW. This doesn't mean that it will be the ONLY speed that may come out on other future concepts. I know you all have GOOD ideas that you just can't wait to express and all, but the engineers behind this have GREAT ideas that they actually want to share with the general public. One day they may come out with another concept that involves 4 different cars each with varrying speeds for each model from 15-30mph - 45mph - 60 mph - 75mph. They may even include 10 different lanes to drive in depending on your car type/speed and destination. This isn't the end concept by any means and shouldn't be treated as such. Don't be afraid of change.

exactly what road will they be driving on. if they mix these slow death traps in with regular traffic Big problems. What will they do spend Hundreds of Billions to build special roads for them. So what they take up less room you would still have to follow them down the road. I guess they will reduce All speed limits to less then 25 since 25 is the Top speed. That means you would have to floor it all the time. That can not be good for any whatever they call these ugly things. I would never buy one simply because I like to live and it would not even get me to town.
