ford has design very good platform to catch the EV market, but the terms must be related to battery efficiency and the switching action like fuel(it will work on both battery as well as petrol).

and it sound great to me.....

These electric-only cars need practical emergency-rescue devices that a user or his family can use anywhere to retrieve an electric car that has depleted its charge before getting home.

I don't mean something carried on board the electric car - I just mean something a non-professional (i.e. another family member) could tow out to the stranded vehicle where they could hitch it up, plug it in and then drive both vehicles home.

A tiny rescue trailer with built-in rechargeable batteries would do the trick and would obviate the need for these early customers to live near tow-truck services equipped for electric.

Little trailers like this would also be useful for very occasional (but planned) extended range trips. A selection of sizes could be made available.

I suppose when electric cars become more commonplace, U-Haul could make a business adding Boost-Hauls to their line.

I agree - if Ford plays their cards right, enters the market quickly with a competitively priced vehicle (both of which should be possible using an existing platform) I think they have the potential to steal lots of sales from Nissan and Chevy and make their Focus Electric very attractive to consumers.
