CES hasn’t even officially started yet, but plenty of news is already leaking out. My bit right here: Fujifilm’s top two cameras of the show, the FinePix HS20EXR (above) and the FinePix F500EXR (below, obviously). There’s not much out there but raw stats, but what are you going to do?
Speaking of stats, here’s the HS20EXR: a 16MP EXR-CMOS sensor; a 30x (24mm-720mm equivalent) lens; a 3.0-inch LCD; and an electronic viewfinder. The future!

Meanwhile, the F500EXR checks in with a 16MP EXR-CMOS censor; a 15x (24-360mm) lens; a 3.0-inch 460K resolution LCD; 1080p recording (I refuse to use the term “Full HD,” which is nothing but silly marketing); and GPS geo-tagging.
Let’s not forget that the EFF calls geo-tagging “traitorware.” Beware!
They’re pretty much identical cameras, yes.
