Gallery: Tesla’s Model S At CES
by Devin Coldewey on January 6, 2011

The vaunted successor to the Tesla Roadster, the Model S, is being shown off in near-production form here at CES. But it’s being shown off by NVIDIA, of all people, who provide the tech behind the enormous touchscreen interface making up a third of the dashboard. They refused to crack this one open so I could get up close and personal with the UI, but I thought I’d take a few glamour shots while I was there. Enjoy the gallery.

What kind of batteries does it take and does it have a jumbo cup holder for my 128oz double gulp diet coke?
Wow this car got some dam sexy lines…
I really need the HTC HD7!!!
Whatever battery that is, it’s supposed to provide 300 miles per charge. I’d say that’s an awful lot in comparison with most purely electric cars, even ones far less powerful .
That’s a sweet car, but pity they didn’t let you inside
Cars that have these features and these looks almost never get produced. We live in an exciting time.
That’s one hell of a beautiful car. I wonder how using the touchscreen while driving looks like.
This is a beautiful car with some amazing technological advantages.
I’ll take one with my HD7. Thanks in advance. Love Peace and Chicken Grease.
Wow, that’s a bis-ass display!
I’m saving up for one of these… one day…
ya, I’m just commenting in the hopes of winning that HD7…
Great pics
Looks a great car,
300 miles seems a good effort on the battery life too -
But yeah, How would using a touch screen go whilst on a bumpy back road, nothing to physically place your finger on.
Hey, are you still giving away a Windows Phone 7 to anyone who comments on a CES posting?
I can’t wait for this car to become reality. Nice looking design too.
I am just commenting to get the HD7. I know I am shameless
.
Gorgeous car although a longer view photo would be appreciated. I’ve read the performance is amazing too (other than fairly short intervals between needing to recharge).
i’d like one HTC HD7 thank you very much
The car has changed somewhat in the front end – von Holtzhausen has removed the emblem and added air intakes right in front of each front wheel. And the Model S is NOT the successor to
the roadster – that car will still be around for while and then succeeded by a newer version.
Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m planning to start my
own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something
completely unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!
