HTC Scribe To Be 7″ Android 3.0 Tablet, According To Suppliers

Just yesterday we saw a trademark request from HTC for something called the Scribe. It sounds very tablet-ish, and of course in the request itself, it’s described as a “handheld wireless device, namely, a tablet computer.” Kind of a giveaway. Well, we have a smidgen more info now courtesy of Digitimes, which reports that component makers put the size of the Scribe at 7″ and identify the OS as Android 3.0.

It may face serious competition: Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Motorola, and likely several others will also be putting out tablets at CES or shortly after. At least this round of Android tablets won’t be as weak as the last one.
