didn't see netflix in the cg post. but did find it in the press release itself.

my question is this:
if this box will have Boxee WITH Netflix, does that mean the unit runs on windoze? or linux (such as ubuntu, android, or meego, platforms purportedly being developed for smart tvs)? (it assuredly does NOT run mac os).

if it runs linux, WHEN DO WE GET NETFLIX TOO?

(netflix website says netflix-on-android (a linux variant) is an issue due to lack of platform-wide drm security. which means, microsoft won't give them the code to run it on linux.)

Seems like just a matter of time until Roku / Boxxee box or similar technology will be in many newer fully featured televisions.

I think Boxee is an edgier company rather than Viewsonic but it´s a good deal anyway. Cool... I can own that!
