Everyone has come to know what the Galaxy Tab is; it’s one of the top tablets out there. Previously, it was required to have a data plan in order to use one. Today, Samsung announced that is no longer the case with the introduction of a Wifi-only model.

We may as well be up front about Pandigital: we weren’t impressed by the original Novel e-reader. But maybe they’ve learned from their mistakes and have produced something a little more worthwhile. At any rate, AT&T seems to think it’s worth your time, since they’re adding the new Multimedia Novel to their selection.

Just yesterday we saw a trademark request from HTC for something called the Scribe. It sounds very tablet-ish, and of course in the request itself, it’s described as a “handheld wireless device, namely, a tablet computer.” Kind of a giveaway. Well, we have a smidgen more info now courtesy of Digitimes, which reports that component makers put the size of the Scribe at 7″ and identify the OS as Android 3.0.
